And so it has been another morning,
When I thought that sleep was a sweet escape. . .
Yet, I need now to rise, remove those sheets of pretension,
It’s time to get up.
Maybe just call-in sick from work?
Yet, it was not really an option;
because my friend, reality had reminded me of the unpaid bills.
Fear decided to join, with snickering mocks that
I was a weakling.
In response of the turmoil I was in,
I threw the doubts, in tears I prayed, lifting His anthem of praise.
Lord, you carried me through today,
I know You will still do tomorrow.
